The University Writing Center is making services more accessible by opening other locations throughout the UW-Eau Claire campus. Walk-in appointments will be available to students at the following times and locations:
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Human Sciences and Services, room 180;
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Nursing, room 258;
5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, McIntyre Library, room 1024;
5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Towers Hall first-floor lounge.
"The reason we are expanding services is to reach even more students and to serve them in locations that are convenient to their schedules," said Traci Thomas-Card, interim coordinator of the University Writing Center.
Online tutoring and live chat sessions also will be available. For more information, go to www.uwec.edu/writing. The University Writing Center is located in Old Library, room 1142.
