R and F parking spaces open for use to families
Issue date: 10/29/09 Section: University Briefs
The UW-Eau Claire residence halls are inviting elementary-age or younger trick-or-treaters to come to campus from 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow evening. Bridgman, Sutherland, Oak Ridge, Chancellors, Putnam and Towers Halls, as well as the first two floors of Governors Hall, are all open for door-to-door trick-or-treating.
Eau Claire students who are participating will have an orange decoration on their doors to indicate to trick-or-treaters that they are welcome. Sutherland will also hold a free haunted house for children from 3 to 7 p.m.
Families coming to the dorms are allowed to park in the R and F spaces on upper campus and the S spaces on lower campus. Tomorrow's event is sponsored by Oak Ridge Hall and Housing and Residence Life. For more information, call Chancellors Hall Director Nicole Wohlrab at 715-836-5057, or call the Housing Office at 715-836-3674.
