Foundation celebrates 50th anniversary

The UW-Eau Claire Foundation commemorated its 50th anniversary by recognizing eight former board presidents and chairs with the lifetime emeritus director title at its annual board meeting Oct. 16.
The honorees at the meeting were David G. Anderson, Janice Ayers, Richard Cable, Duane Dingmann, Jon N. Homstad, Joseph Mirr and Ken Vance, all of Eau Claire; Larry Weber of Durand; and Carole Halberg, former president of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, of Madison and Eau Claire.
Throughout its existence, the UW-Eau Claire Foundation has raised millions through projects such as memorial funds, fund-matching and the Fulfilling the Promise of Excellence campaign.
