At 12:40 p.m. an officer was contacted by Student Patrol that people were possibly smoking marijuana near Schofield Hall. While the officer was driving to the location, three people walked under the library and sat down on a bench.
The officer approached the three people and said he was investigating a drug complaint. The people said they were not smoking and emptied their pockets without being asked. After checking the area where the Student Patrol said he saw people smoking, the officer was unable to locate any evidence.
The officer returned and asked the subjects to confirm they did not have any illegal items. Nothing illegal was found, and the subjects were allowed to leave.
