Saturday, Oct. 10
At 10:17 p.m., an officer received a phone call from a sergeant of the Eau Claire Police Department. The sergeant said a vehicle was parked outside some woods in Fall Creek, and that the passengers seemed to be in the woods hunting. After checking the cars' registration, he realized the car was registered to two men living in Bridgman Hall.
The sergeant said he was concerned because of the time of night, and thought that the brothers might be hurt in the woods and unable to get help. The officer went to the men's room, but could not find them, but he spoke with their resident assistant to obtain one of their cell phone numbers.
A call was made with no answer, so the officer asked the RA to call when the men returned. Later in the evening the RA called and said they had returned to the building safely.
