At 11:09 p.m., an officer received a phone call from an RA on duty in Murray Hall. The RA said a window in the building's basement was broken. The officer went to the building, and a man showed him the site of the broken window, which was located on the eastern side of the building's north wing. Based on the shape of the damage, the officer determined a baseball-sized object had hit the window. The officer then took pictures to record the damage and cleaned up the broken glass on the floor. A piece of cardboard was also taped over the damage. The officer filled out a service card so the window could be repaired the following Monday.
