Student Senate to host off-campus housing seminar

Off-campus housing will be the topic of a seminar taking place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Towers Hall basement. The event, sponsored by UW-Eau Claire's Student Senate, is entitled "The Dos and Don'ts of Signing."
The seminar is designed to teach students about renting off-campus housing. Representatives from Student Legal Services, the Consumer Protection Agency and the Eau Claire City-County Health Department are scheduled to lead the event. They will discuss housing leases, tenants' rights, strategies for a good renting experience and will answer any questions about off-campus housing students may have.
