An officer was dispatched to the south side of the university footbridge in reference to several stray kittens at 10:50 a.m. After arriving, the officer saw no kittens and attempted to contact the woman who made the call.
About 10 minutes later the officer was advised that the woman was by Hass Fine Arts Center attempting to get the kittens into a cardboard box. The officer contacted the woman again, who said she would transport them to the Humane Society.
