A new program has been created to assist international students. The group, called Friends Across Borders, will be collecting items from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 8 at Katherine Thomas Hall and Oak Ridge Hall.

The collections will go towards the group's "lend-and-loan closet." Students can borrow items from the closet when they arrive. Many of the items are necessities for dorm life. They can also leave things that they can't take back to their home country.

The group is also looking into other projects to help international students.
