Saturday, Dec. 6
At 2:56 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Towers Hall to check on an intoxicated woman. Another officer assisted. The officers were directed to a women's bathroom and met with a man who said the woman was staying with him for the night. The officer met with the woman and she appeared to be very intoxicated, not being able to give the officer her information.
The officer asked for identification and the woman said she did not have any. The woman then ran to a bathroom stall and vomited. The officer was able to get the woman's information from the man. The woman began giving the officer more information while the officer was speaking with the man.
The officer asked her how much she had had to drink and the woman said one beer. The assisting officer told the woman to be honest and the woman still said only one beer. The officer tried to get a preliminary breath test but the woman did not blow in the tube correctly.
The officer tried several times but was unable to get a result. After a medic arrived, the woman declined medical transport and the man said he would look after the woman for the night. The officer issued the woman a citation for underage drinking, first offense.
