The 2009 Jazz in the Valley Art Crawl is looking for Midwest artists to submit 3D and hanging jazz-inspired art in the national invitational show by Nov. 15.
The art crawl is one of many events celebrating America's only original art form. Other Jazz in the Valley events will include jazz-themed educational seminars, concerts, poetry readings and special restaurant menus.
Works in the art crawl will be displayed and for sale at various Chippewa Valley venues, including Acoustic Café, Porter's Restaurant and Bar in Ramada Inn and Convention Center, The Goat Coffee House on Water Street, and the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls.
Artists interested in submitting artwork should e-mail jazzinthevalley@gmail.com for a registration form. Questions may be directed to Alice Anderson at 715-838-0507.
