Issue date: 10/27/08 Section: University Briefs
Residence halls, including Bridgman, Sutherland, Oak Ridge, Governors and Towers, will welcome Eau Claire elementary children from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday. Participating rooms will be marked with an orange decoration on the door indicating trick-or-treaters are welcome.
Towers Hall will also have a scavenger hunt with a chance to win raffle prizes by completing the scavenger hunt or by donating a non-perishable food item. Trick-or-treating in the residence halls is a long-standing tradition for the children in the Eau Claire community.
The event is sponsored by Oak Ridge Hall Housing and Residence Life. Parking for the event is available in metered spots as well as the lots on lower and upper campus.
