Cross County team moves up

The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams improved their rankings in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll, released yesterday.
The women, who were ranked third since the beginning of the season, moved up one spot into a tie for second with Amherst.
In the previous poll, Amherst was ranked first. Eau Claire also received one first place vote this week.
The men moved up 11 spots to 23rd in this week's poll, making this the largest improvement of any team.
Both teams were off last weekend but will head to St. Paul, Minn. for this year's University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invite on Saturday at 9 a.m..
