University, chancellor sets goals for new school year
Diversity, reorganization of administration included on list of topics to be addressed

Levin-Stankevich pointed to other summer work, including the summer for excellence in achievement and learning, beginning work on the reorganization of the administration, the creation of the student affairs division, and signing the president's climate commitment and completing the carbon footprint.
A good deal of time this summer additionally was spent in making sure Eau Claire continues to be on the funding list for the new education building, which Levin-Stankevich said fits into goal No. 7 of the comprehensive facilities plan with an emphasis on new buildings and renovations.
Senior Ben Villeneuve said he can see how Brewer Hall could use a new look.
"It seems pretty old," he said. "It reminds me of the classrooms I was in when I was in first grade because things look so outdated."
Wood said he hopes all faculty, staff and students find something that speaks to them and sparks their interest.
