Post reporter to speak at annual Devroy forum

The Washington Post reporter Dana Priest is scheduled to speak at UW-Eau Claire on April 24 for the Ann Devroy Memorial Forum.
The forum is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium and the title of Priest's presentation is "Secrecy and the Media: A View From the Trenches."
Priest is most recently known for uncovering the Walter Reed Army Medical Center outpatient care scandal for The Post in 2007. She has worked as a reporter for The Post for 21 years.
Priest was The Post's Pentagon correspondent for seven years, where she reported on the invasion of Panama in 1989, reported from Iraq in 1990, covered the Kosovo war in 1999 and many other international affairs.
Priest received The Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting for her reporting on CIA secret prisons and counterterrorism operations overseas in 2006.
Priest is also a contributor to CBS News and a fellow at New York University's Center on Law and Security.
As a service to the community, The Spectator publishes upcoming events. Events must be submitted to The Spectator office by 5 p.m. Monday for the Thursday issue and 3 p.m. Friday for the Monday issue and will be published as space allows.
