Soccer ties with Titans
Blugolds finish game with 1-1 draw against conference opponent

The UW-Eau Claire soccer team, fresh off a 2-1 loss Wednesday to top-ranked Wheaton College (Ill.), finished Saturday's conference match at UW-Oshkosh in a 1-1 draw.
The Titans scored early in the first half, and the game remained a stalemate for the rest of the first half and well into the second. Blugold junior Amy Smith scored with just minutes remaining in the game to force overtime.
The teams battled through two extra periods before calling the 1-1 tie.
Eau Claire is now 11-1-2 overall and 4-0-1 in the WIAC.
