A memorial service Friday will honor the two UW-Eau Claire students who lost their lives over spring break.
Jason Buchmeier and Jason Schluter will be remembered with a service at 5 p.m. Friday at the Ecumenical Religious Center next to Hibbard Hall.
Buchmeier and Schluter were killed as a result of a traffic accident that took place in Georgia on March 16. They were traveling to Florida for spring vacation when a tractor-trailer tire hit their vehicle, killing Buchmeier and injuring Schluter, who died later.
Buchmeier, 21, was a junior geography major from Mauston. Schluter, 23, was a senior kinesiology major from Lyndon Station.
