At 9:59 p.m., an officer driving down Park Avenue saw a vehicle with its flashers on next to an island in the roadway.

The driver of the vehicle said her car was dead and that she had moved it to the side of the road as best she could. She said a tow truck would be on the scene in 45 minutes.

The officer said he could push the vehicle with a push bar on his squad car to Park Place, to which the driver agreed.

After inspecting the bumper, the officer noticed the rear bumper was pushed in; the woman said she was aware of the damage.

The officer then pushed the vehicle to a safe location. The driver said the tow truck was 10 minutes away.
