University Dining Services to sponsor charity event

On Tuesday, the annual Soup and Bread night will be held to benefit a local food pantry.
The Dining Committee will have students eat in the cafeterias for full price, but they will be served only soup, bread and beverages.
Volunteers fill the kitchen and serving positions, and all profits are donated to Feed My People, which is based in west central Wisconsin.
Last year, the benefit raised almost $1,500. The committee hopes to top that amount on Tuesday.
