College Republicans screen movie to honor Reagan, fall of Berlin Wall

Posted 2:35 a.m. 11-8-09 The UW-Eau Clair College Replicans will be showing the film "In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed" on Thursday at 7pm in room 100 of Schneider Hall, according the university press release The film, which is based on the bestselling book "Reagan's War" by Peter Schweizer, focuses on Reagan's work to bring down communism and support freedom.

Senate votes to make fourth offense drunk driving a felony

Posted 2:40 a.m. 11-8-09 The Wisconsin State Senate voted unanimously Thursday in favor of a change to the state's drunk driving laws. Under the new law more drivers will have to install ignition interlock devices into their cars and some fourth drunk driving offences will become felonies.
