Davies site for Regent discussion

Board to hear students' tuition concerns today

Students will have a chance to voice their concerns over rising tuition costs and other topics at a special Board of Regents meeting today in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center. The meeting, from 4 to 6 p.m., will focus on the cost of education, the role of UW campuses in the state's economy and recruitment and retention of faculty.

Absentee ballots help students abroad

Sophomore Jon Radcliffe is excited about voting on Nov. 2. "I feel that it is my civic duty and that I am not taking advantage of the rights I can exercise only every four years by not voting," Radcliffe said in an e-mail. There's only one problem: Radcliffe is thousands of miles away from UW-Eau Claire in Latvia.
