The award-winning documentary "House of Numbers" will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition.

"House of Numbers" takes a different perspective on the HIV/AIDS story than is typical. The film presents uncensored viewpoints of major players in their own setting in their own words.

In the referendum concluding Wednesday night, students approved the two questions put before them.

The first question asked whether students wanted to maintain current services under the programs, costing an additional $45 per year.

The second asked if students approve an increase in those programs at an added cost of $15 per year, for a total increase from the current $60 to $120 per year.

When Bryan Adams isn't touring the country singing his hit "Summer of 69" he finds time to get closer to his roots every year at Thanksgiving, or at least I'm pretty sure he tries. But since our reach here at the Racquet doesn't quite go that far I am actually talking about Brian Adams, a senior here at UW-L who hears enough "Summer of 69" jokes that it's no longer funny for anyone involved (except for me I guess).
